Task

Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, focusing on AWS with secondary involvement in Azure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
Lead and support cloud migration projects, securely transitioning workloads from on-premises or other environments to AWS and Azure.
Automate cloud operations in AWS (using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation) and Azure as necessary, ensuring security and efficiency.
Implement and maintain security best practices across cloud environments, including network security, IAM policies, encryption, and vulnerability management.
Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless, secure, and efficient deployment pipelines, with a focus on AWS but with involvement in Azure when needed.
Ensure compliance with industry security standards such as SOC2, ISO 27001, and CIS benchmarks across AWS and Azure environments.
Conduct cost optimization for AWS resources while maintaining strong security, and assess efficiency improvements across both AWS and Azure.
Maintain and update operational and security documentation, focusing on AWS best practices and supporting Azure environments.

Requirements

3-5+ years of experience managing and operating cloud environments, with deep expertise in AWS and working knowledge of Azure.
Proven experience leading or supporting cloud migration projects, ensuring secure transitions to AWS/Azure.
Proficiency in AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM) and automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
Strong understanding of cloud security best practices (IAM, encryption, security groups, firewalls) and experience implementing them in AWS.
Experience with security tools and frameworks (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, CIS benchmarks).
Knowledge of Azure services and their security configurations.
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix or Windows operating systems.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and security integration in cloud environments.
Excellent troubleshooting skills in AWS environments and cloud security issues.
Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams (development, operations, and security).
